Reflexology colleges provide courses and training in reflexology therapy, or foot zone therapy, which an ancient eastern practice founded on the basis that areas of the feet are comprised of reflex areas on the foot that in turn correspond to organs, glands, and systems of the body.
On a reflexology course a technique of massage on the reflex points on the feet is taught to help relieve stress, unblock energy blockages , and improve health. On a reflexology course reflexology students learn the sequence in which to apply pressure to reflex points. A student would learn on the reflexology course, what areas of the feet correspond to what part of the body
Stress on the body blocks vital energy flows, what a student on a reflexology course would do is press corresponding reflex points so that crystalline structures can be broken down. This in turn releases the blocked energy which in turn promotes improved health. Students on a reflexology course are taught that reflexology is not a "cure" for diseases, what they are taught is reflexology helps restore a natural balance in the body.
To find out if a reflexology courses is right for you, you should book a reflexology session with a qualified reflexologist, so that you can experience the reflexology before you decide if a reflexology course leading to a career in reflexology is for you. Reflexology courses vary in length and quality. Some reflexology courses do not provide training to a suffciently indepth level for serious reflexologist, while short courses would be ok for practicing on friends and family. The association of reflexologists list courses that are approved by them. There are also many differing awarding bodies that accredit reflexology courses. Again the association of reflexologist can provide more information about reflexology courses
So, if you are considering doing a Reflexology course, you could search on the internet for a reflexology course
REFLEXOLOGY COURSES ONLINE.
My first Reflexology courses online.
Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears. Reflexologists believe that these reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them creates real benefits for the person's health. Reflexology is a form of bodywork that involves applying pressure to the hands and feet to produce changes in pain and other benefits elsewhere in the body.
This is just a little taste of what you will find on my website

How to Heal Yourself with Reflexology. In case you’re that type of person who runs to the pharmacy and grabs pills, ointment, syrup, or drops to feel better whenever you feel even slightly sick, there’s an alternative for you. It's a known fact that while meds do help get rid of a current health problem, they can also have nasty side effects and do serious damage to your internal organs. If you want to stay healthy without paying much money for medications, try using pressure points on your body for your treatment.
If you haven’t heard of reflexology before, it basically involves applying pressure to certain points on your body to cure different health problems. Reflexology can effectively relieve pain, help with insomnia, and get rid of headaches and even nausea.

-One of the most effective pressure points to get rid of a headache is the Third Eye Pressure Point. It's situated right above the bridge of your nose between your eyebrows.
-Position your index fingers near the edges of your nostrils so that you can feel your cheekbones. Massage these points for 2 or 3 minutes to get rid of nasal congestion.
-Massage the pressure point situated in the little dip between your upper lip and nose for a couple of minutes until you feel that you're ready to function again.
-There are several pressure points that are effective at getting rid of back pain. One of them can be found on your palm between your thumb and index finger. Use the thumb and index finger of your other hand to massage this spot for 15 seconds.
-Sit back in your chair and feel for two small symmetrical indentations where your neck meets your skull. Use the pads of your middle fingers to massage the pressure points clockwise for about 5 minutes to relieve stress.
-Try massaging the place found on the fleshy pad between your index finger and thumb on its highest point. Do this for several minutes until you feel some relief from your toothache.
-The main pressure point you should locate to stop feeling nauseous is situated near your wrist on your inner arm.
-If you bend your fingers, it’s the place on your pam where the tip of your middle finger ends up. Massage this pressure point in counterclockwise circular motions to slow down a rapid heartbeat.
-You absolutely can apply pressure to particular points on your body to rid yourself of several unwanted pounds. Position your fingers on both sides of your jaw and close and open your mouth several times. You need the point where most of the movement happens.
-To cure insomnia, you can start with the “Spirit Gate” point. It’s located in the hollow space on the crease of your wrist directly below your pinkie.

Metatarsalgia: Causes, Diagnosis, and Treatment
Metatarsalgia causes the ball of the foot to be inflamed and experience pain. One of the main causes of metatarsalgia is the reduction of the forefoot's natural fat pad. This reduction in protection leaves the foot vulnerable to different types of injuries.
The best way to deal with metatarsalgia is by using proper footwear and a condition specific orthotic. One main feature to look for while shopping for shoes is a toe rocker forefoot which will distribute pressure through out the foot. It is important to absolutely avoid shoes that are too light or flexible as they increase the load on the problem area.
A condition specific orthotic from SLO Motion Shoes will specifically target your area of discomfort by further reducing the pressure by the metatarsal heads. Stop by SLO Motion Shoes or visit us online for more information!

Vitality Acupressure Massage Therapy
Massage therapy with the use of cupping and acupressure are healing acts of Eastern Medicine practiced by Yaping Wu in Fenton, Michigan.
Acupressure is an ancient Chinese healing method that involves applying pressure to certain meridian points on the body to relieve pains and stiffness. Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture by Chi Yu Wellness Centre
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture uses fine sterilised needles inserted into points on the face, ear and body to rejuvenate the skin. It improves skin texture, collagen production, and reduces signs of ageing. A course of treatments is recommended for a long lasting effect.
Hello, I'm Mami Tsang, the owner of chi yu wellness centre and a complementary therapy practitioner. In this video, I’m going to introduce Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture uses fine sterilised needles which are inserted into acupuncture points which are located on the face, ear and the body to rejuvenate your skin. By stimulating the acupuncture channels and points on the face, you can benefit the internal organs and align the meridian channels of the body so that will also benefit the skin.
After your initial consultation with your practitioner, depending on your skin concerns and the state of your health, specific acupuncture points on both face and body are selected. Facial acupuncture improves skin texture, promote collagen production, and reduces signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines also reduce the puffiness under the eyes. The facial acupuncture is also beneficial to treat acne prone skin, rosacea by addressing underlying causes of these skin conditions.
The treatment includes cleansing and application of serum using natural and organic skin care products. The massage using acupressure technique, Jade Roller and Gua Sha are included.
After the treatment, you will be advised on skin care routine, dietary and lifestyle changes to improve your skin condition as well as support your physical and mental wellbeing. A course of weekly treatments is recommended for a long lasting effect.
