Arthritis is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. According to Ayurveda arthritis is primarily a vata (air) disease which is due to accumulation of toxins in the joints and is known as amavata. This can be caused by poor digestion and a weakened colon, resulting in the accumulation of undigested food and the buildup of waste matter. Poor digestion allows toxins to accumulate in the body, and problems with the colon allow the toxins to reach the joints.
Symptoms : Fever; Immense pain & stiffness in affected muscles in case of chronic muscular rheumatism; Pain or tenderness in a joint which is aggravated by any movement or activity, such as walking, getting up from a chair, writing, typing, holding an object, throwing a ball, turning a key; Excruciating pain and stiffness in the joints in case of chronic articular rheumatism.
Home Remedies: The following are a few simple cures that might just help relieve you from the pain of arthritis. Try any of them to see what works for you.
Two teaspoons of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey mixed in a cup of warm water taken twice a day is good for curing arthritis; Two teaspoons of juice from fresh leaves of bathua, drink every day on an empty stomach for 2-3 months; Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder with warm water helps cure arthritis; Taking alfalfa tea twice a day makes a good cure; Two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and 2 teaspoons of honey dissolved in a small glass of warm water taken once or twice a day brings relief; Rub the aching joints with hot vinegar to get some relief from pain; Two parts pure olive oil and one part kerosene makes a wonderful liniment to bathe afflicted joints; Add one tablespoon cod liver oil to the juice of one orange, whip and drink before sleeping; One raw clove of garlic every day is very beneficial. This clove can be fried in ghee (clarified butter) or castor oil. Take for 2 months; Guggulu is very helpful in curing arthritis. Eat half a teaspoon twice a day after meals with warm water; Exercise the afflicted joints in a tub full of hot water; Drink carrot juice, cucumber juice, eat cooked vegetables and/or vegetable soups, and drink coconut water for a healthy body & massage your joints daily to cure arthritis; On an empty stomach eat 2-3 walnuts or some coconut; Avoid mental tensions that lead to stress. Lose weight, if necessary, to get close to your ideal weight. If you weigh less, there is less weight on your joints and less pain;

Herbal Remedies:
The use of herbs is a time-honored approach to strengthening the body and treating disease. The following have been used traditionally to treat rheumatoid arthritis:
Shallaki also known as boswellia (Boswellia serrata), comes from a tree that yields gum when its bark is peeled away. In clinical trials, promising results were observed in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, chronic colitis, Crohn's disease. Researchers found that standardized Boswellia extract significantly reduced swelling and pain and usually reduced morning stiffness for people with rheumatoid arthritis.
Ashvagandha (Withania somniferum) is an Asian plant of the potato family. Its roots have long been used to treat "rheumatism," high blood pressure, immune dysfunctions, erection problems and also to ease inflammation. Because of all this, it's sometimes called the "Indian ginseng."
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) may be among the best-studied of the four. Research suggests ginger root inhibits production of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, which are involved in pain and inflammation. In an uncontrolled 1992 Danish study, 56 patients who had either RA, OA or muscular discomfort took powdered ginger. All of those with musculoskeletal pain and three-fourths of those with OA or RA reported varying degrees of pain relief and no side effects, even among those who took the ginger for more than two years.
Herbal oils are applied to the arthritis to loosen stiff joints, restore mobility, remove pain, inflammation or swelling, nourish tissues and relieve pain. The experienced hands dipped in the pleasantly warmed oil will travel all over the body with pressure. Arthcare not only increases blood circulation but also gives a sure relief for rheumatic arthritis, spondylosis, paralysis, muscular disorder, slipped disc, asthma and tuberculosis. Brings in relief from stress, strain and tensions. It is also very good for tonning of one's muscles and nerves. Get instant relief within minutes of application of oil.
Advice:
Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate): Magnesium has both anti-inflammatory and anti- arthritic properties and it can be absorbed through the skin. Magnesium is one of the most important of the essential minerals in the body, and it is commonly deficient in the American diet. A New England remedy for arthritis is a hot bath of Epsom salts. The heat of the bath can increase circulation and reduce the swelling of arthritis.
Dosage and Directions: Fill a bathtub with water as hot as you can stand. Add 2 cups of Epsom salts. Bathe for thirty minutes, adding hot water as necessary to keep the temperature warm. Do this daily as often as you'd like.

How I got rid of my Fibromyalgia (THE TRUTH)
The very first video I ever made on YouTube was a video titled How I got rid of my Fibromyalgia. In it, I talked about how my Fibromyalgia symptoms disappeared after I completed an elimination diet called The Whole30.
I've gotten a ton of comments on that video. Many people say they tried the Whole30 and their pain disappeared too! Some comments from people angry at me for suggesting it…
And that's been weighing on me. My Fibromyalgia is officially in remission but I've never been 100% sure why. But I am starting to get a better idea. Which is why I'm finally making this video.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What’s the Whole30?
The Whole30 is a FREE, 30-day elimination diet. You can get more information about it at
How long did it take for you to feel better?
This is super hard to answer because I figured things out through a lot of trial and error. There wasn’t anyone to turn to for help. So it took a couple of years of slowly feeling better until I was in remission.
Are you cured?
No. I’m in remission. You cannot cure Fibromyalgia. But remission means I don’t have any symptoms. I can live my life like normal, work full time, exercise, etc without taking any medication or having symptoms.

0:29 Referred pain
1:48 Injury pain
2:14 Systemic pain
2:45 Causes of pain
In this video, let’s talk about pain and inflammation. Pain can cause your adrenals to release a lot of cortisol. Cortisol is also known as the “stress hormone.” This hormone can cause you to stop sleeping well and losing weight.
There are three types of pain:
1. Referred pain
Referred pain is very common with the gallbladder. If you have right shoulder pain, but you didn’t injure your shoulder, this is most likely the gallbladder.
The heart can cause pain through the mid-back and the left arm and shoulder.
2. Injury pain
This is pain that occurs after an injury or procedure. You want to do acupressure on the opposite side for this type of pain.
3. Systemic pain
Systemic pain is when you have pain all over. This has to do with losing cortisol. Cortisol is an anti-inflammatory. Without it, inflammation spreads throughout the body and leads to pain. This is an adrenal issue.
Inflammation can cause joint, gut, and arthritis pain as well as congestion.
Headaches can be caused by:
• Gallbladder
• Neck
• Sinuses
• Menstrual cycle/estrogen
• Old head injuries

Chronic pain meditation | Natural Pain Relief | Relaxation for Pain
This meditation for chronic pain uses relaxation, breathing exercises and guided imagery with one goal in mind, to produce your body’s natural relaxation response to counteract the effects of stress and reduce pain. Relaxation techniques are safe for anybody to use and do not have the side effects of pain medication.
If you suffer with chronic pain you’ll know the way it affects every part of your life. Acute pain is useful in telling you something is wrong. Chronic pain, on the other hand, is not so useful. It outlasts the original injury and gets in the way of carrying out your daily routines. This can lead to further frustration, anxiety and low mood. It makes your body sensitive than it needs to be.
Lady Gaga recently came out and talked about her fibromyalgia, a condition which is characterized by widespread chronic pain. In coming out about living with this condition she is one of the first celebrities to openly discuss living with chronic pain.
For so many years fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and ME have been on the fringes of medical fields. Mostly because many conventional medicines don’t help. Patients might get wrongly labelled as malingerers or difficult. Some, as my mum experienced, are told it’s all in their head.
But chronic pain is not just limited to these conditions. It can be any pain that lasts longer than three months. So includes an old back injury that plays up, rheumatoid arthritis, frequent headaches, IBS, Crohn’s disease etc.
Many renowned hospitals and clinics such as Cleveland clinic encourage patients to use relaxation techniques after surgery to reduce pain, reduce reliance on pain medication and to speed up recovery.
I’ve designed this guided meditation with the hope it will help you on your journey to healing chronic pain. Use it alongside whatever recommendations your doctor has given you, to help put you more in control of your symptoms.

In this video, we’re going to talk about chronic pain. I want to share with you some unique and powerful things you can do for chronic pain.
Common chronic pain causes:
• Post-surgery
• Post-injury
• Referral
• Diabetic
• Autoimmune
• Arthritis
There is not a lot of exact knowledge about why people develop chronic pain. But, I want to give you my opinion on the subject.
What to do:
You will want to work on the opposite side from where you’re feeling pain. You do not want to work on the area where you’re feeling pain because you’ll re-traumatize it.
• Rate the pain
• Use massage/acupressure to work on the opposite area for 1-2 minutes
• Rate the pain again
• Use massage/acupressure to work on the opposite area a little higher up for 1-2 minutes
If this technique doesn’t work, it may be because of referred pain. For a whiplash injury, there is a more complex technique you should try. Some neck pain and abdomen pain may be coming from a digestive issue. In this case, you need to fix your diet. Get on healthy keto and do intermittent fasting.
Natural remedies for chronic pain:
1. Fasting
2. Stinging nettle root
3. Vitamin D (40,000 IUs)
4. Benfotiamine

FIBROMYALGIA, Causes, Signs and Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment.
Fibromyalgia (FM) is a medical condition characterised by chronic widespread pain and a heightened pain response to pressure.Other symptoms include tiredness to a degree that normal activities are affected, sleep problems and troubles with memory. Some people also report restless legs syndrome, bowel or bladder problems, numbness and tingling and sensitivity to noise, lights or temperature.Fibromyalgia is frequently associated with depression, anxiety and posttraumatic stress disorder.Other types of chronic pain are also frequently present.
The cause of fibromyalgia is unknown; however, it is believed to involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors, with each playing a substantial role. The condition runs in families and many genes are believed to be involved.Environmental factors may include psychological stress, trauma and certain infections. The pain appears to result from processes in the central nervous system and the condition is referred to as a central sensitization syndrome.Fibromyalgia is recognized as a disorder by the US National Institutes of Health and the American College of Rheumatology. There is no specific diagnostic test. Diagnosis involves first ruling out other potential causes and verifying that a set number of symptoms are present.

The Humira Alternative for Inflammation – Dr.Berg On Rheumatoid Arthritis Symptoms
Overview of Keto and Intermittent Fasting:
Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: or go here:
Download Keto Essentials
In this video, Dr. Berg talks about Humira alternative. Humira is an anti-inflammatory blockbuster and a top selling prescription drug. In the US, 70% of the population is on at least 1 drug. Glucose is highly inflammatory and a potent trigger for inflammation. Insulin is anti-inflammatory but high levels of insulin in the blood is also inflammatory. Consuming too much glucose, sugar and carbs it will increase insulin and develop into a condition called insulin resistance. Lowering insulin resistance could lower inflammation as well.
Ways to Drop Inflammation:
• Low Carb Diet or Healthy Ketosis
• Intermittent Fasting
Hey guys! So I recently had a question from someone who was on humira and they wanted to know if there's any type of alternative. Well, first of all I want to tell you if you're taking this medication, I'm not telling you to come of your medication. Check with your doctor, this video is just to give you some background information for you and your doctor to do research in some possible alternatives. The things you need to know about humira is it is a blockbuster prescription drug. And blockbuster meaning it's over 1 billion dollars. In fact last year, the sale were over 16 billion dollars and if i'm not mistaken it's the top-selling drug. What it does, is it lowers inflammation so it's an anti-inflammatory. There's a lot of people out there that have inflammation whether it's arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, all the itis's or autoimmune and this drug targets inflammation. One of the big problems I see in America is that we are on way too many prescription drugs, 70% of the population is on at least one drug in the US with over 4 billion prescriptions written in the US every single year, that's 13 medications for every man, woman and child. I think that's a little excessive. What do you think? With over 30% of the prescriptions never even filled because it's expensive. And it is hard to afford those medications. So what am I gonna recommend is a different solution to actually fix the underlying reason why you have inflammation. And I am not going to recommend going to the healthy store and taking a pill, turmeric or some type of omega-3 fatty acids to try to get rid of the inflammation because I've been in practice for thirty years, those things do not work unless you fix the person's eating, their general eating plan. Glucose is highly inflammatory, it is a potent trigger for inflammation that includes all types of sugar. Vegetable oil that you would get in the store, soy, corn, canola, Omega-6 are also inflammatory. And then we get to insulin an anti-inflammatory. But high levels of insulin in the blood are inflammatory. So it can go either way, what happens is that when you consume too much glucose or sugar or carbs, what happens is you're gonna start increasing insulin and then the insulin is going to develop into a condition called insulin resistance, so it is not gonna work anymore.
