Obesity - Natural Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Weight Loss
A person is said to be obese when he or she is overweight, with excessive fat accumulation in the body. Sedentary life styles, high consumption of processed foods, impaired metabolism and genetic factors all contribute to a person becoming obese. But ignoring obesity can lead to many serious ailments, some of which can be life threatening.
To shed those extra kilos, try these simple solutions in your kitchen.
Take a glass of warm water.
Mix in 1 tlbsp of honey.
Add 1 tsp of lime juice.
Start your day with this.
Apple cider vinegar helps in the breaking down of fat deposits in the body.
Take a glass of warm water.
Add a tsp of apple cider vinegar and a tsp of lime juice.
Have this before meals, twice a day.
Green tea restricts the absorption of fat in the body and is a good source of antioxidants.
Substitute your normal tea with green tea, and have it 2-3 times a day.
Curry leaves, according to Ayurveda, also help fight obesity.
Take 8-10 fresh curry leaves and wash them well.
Eat these every morning.
Though these simple measures help in fighting obesity, there is no substitute for exercise, be it in the form of formal exercise, yoga, or just brisk walking.
Take care of yourself, and try to maintain your ideal body weight.

Obesity Remedy 1:
Taking one teaspoon of fresh honey mixed with the juice of half a lime in a glass of lukewarm water, at regular intervals is highly beneficial.
Obesity Remedy 2:
Mix two teaspoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. Drink it daily in the morning and preferably before meals.
You can also drink a glass of water mixed with one teaspoon each of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.
You can have up to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a day. Do not exceed this amount, as it may reduce your blood potassium levels over time and lower your bone mineral density.
Obesity Remedy 3:
Pour a cup of hot water over one-half teaspoon of cinnamon powder (you can also use cinnamon sticks). Let it steep for half an hour.
Mix in one teaspoon of organic honey.
Drink half of it in the morning on an empty stomach, about half an hour before breakfast. Store the rest in the refrigerator and drink it at night before going to bed.
